You can visit the Electronic Cafe International. in VRML. Kit Galloway (One of the ECI founders) is actually waiting for you at the reception. What is unique about this file is the fact that the elements inside the cafe were created using several VRML programs. Virtus Walkthrough was used to create the basic architecture. The elements inside were created with VRealm

Builder from IDS ( the Lavalamp), Cosmo Worlds from SGI (The mask on the wall), hand coding for elements such as the Olympics sign, 3D Studio Max for the really cool animated robot moving around inside the cafe, AvatarMaker from Sven technologies to create Kit�s avatar and much more... Just click on the image to visit the world. (size is around 180 K for the VRML world and 165K for sound).

As other VRML worlds are being completed, the elements inside the cafe will become portals to other worlds or parts of the Electronic Cafe International Internet site.

You can also explore the Wall of Fame (At the Electronic Cafe, one of the walls is decorated with photos of celebrities that participated at specific events). This VRML world recreates the wall in 3 dimensions with objects that are links to specific information about some of the celebrities such as Timothy Leary, Marc Pesce, etc..

Several worlds have also been created to represent the various Electronic Cafe locations during the Olympic games in L.A., you can view one of these worlds here. All of these worlds will be accessible from a VRML map of Los Angeles.
